This beautiful destination has many wonderful trails for whale watching, lots of wineries, and it’s even home to the world-famous Monterey Bay aquarium. As you can see, Monterey is absolutely a wonderful choice. Carmel is too as you’ll find out in a moment.

    There’s plenty to do in Monterey besides the amazing options that we just mentioned. Right after you visit the aquarium, you’ll be right next to historic Cannery Row, downtown Monterey, and fisherman’s wharf. There’s so much to do in this location that it’s not even funny.     Not only is the food and wine absolutely amazing, there are also many wonderful shops and other attractions in downtown Napa. So definitely take time to visit downtown while you’re staying here over the weekend. You’ll want to stop in the shops to pick up a thing or two, or maybe you just like window shopping, or you may want to buy a souvenir to commemorate your trip.     Yountville

    Sometimes we really need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city because let’s face it, Pleasanton in the San Francisco Bay area is often loud, excited, and there always seems to be something going on. On occasion, you’ll want to relax, destress, and visit somewhere much quieter even if it’s only for a weekend. That’s where Yountville comes into the picture.

    The great thing about Yountville is it’s very close from the city. As a matter of fact, it’s only about an hour away, which makes it a very quick and easy drive. You’ll be there in no time at all.

    Another wonderful thing about Yountville is that it’s really quiet. This is the best place to go if you’re looking to give your mind and body a rest. You’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. There are plenty of geese, coyotes, pheasants, and the beautiful hills all surrounding this amazing area.

    It also has some great wineries and it’s a beautiful Northern California romantic getaway location with lots of luxury suites, massages, organic food, and everything you’d want in a quiet weekend getaway destination.
